Material
• Stoff aus 100% recycelten PET-Flaschen, GRS-zertifiziert (Recyceltes Polyester verbraucht in der Produktion 60 % weniger Energie und 90 % weniger Wasser als herkömmliches Polyester, der Co2-Ausstoß wird um 30 % reduziert.)

• Unsere Modelle aus recycelten PET-Flaschen reisen im Schnitt gerade einmal 1.300 km, bis sie bei uns in Berlin ankommen. Die Flaschen werden in Norditalien gesammelt, gereinigt, zerkleinert und geschmolzen. Aus ihnen entstehen hauchdünne Polyesterfasern, die zu Fäden gesponnen, schwermetallfrei gefärbt und schließlich zu einem neuen, vollständig recycelten Stoff verwebt werden. Für den fertigen Stoff geht die Reise weiter nach Polen, in unsere Näherei in Stettin, in der unsere Jacken und Mäntel genäht werden. Von dort ist es in unser Berliner Atelier nur noch ein Katzensprung.
• Das Futter aus recycelter Wollmischung wird in Italien aus Altkleidung hergestellt: Große Mengen alter Wollkleidung werden gesammelt und farblich sortiert. Das Altmaterial wird gewaschen und in winzige Fasern zertrennt, aus denen ein vollkommen neuer Stoff gewebt wird. Gefärbt wird das recycelte Wollgewebe nicht: Das Ursprungsmaterial bestimmt die Farbe des Stoffes. Eine der Herausforderungen in der Produktion ist die geringe Verfügbarkeit reiner Wollkleidung auf dem Markt, denn für den Herstellungsprozess werden je Farbe mindestens 2.000 Kilogramm Altmaterial benötigt. Da Wolle häufig mit Kunstfasern gemischt wird, sind diese auch in der Altkleidung zu finden. Im Recyclingprozess können Wolle und Kunstfaser jedoch nicht voneinander getrennt werden. Stattdessen wird der bestehende Materialmix vollständig wiederverwertet. Das Ergebnis ist eine Recyclingfaser, in der Wolle auf einen variablen Anteil verschiedener Kunstfasern trifft.
Farbe, Größe & Passform
• Farben: Desert (fällt dunkler aus als auf dem Foto, siehe Farbkarte), Ocean, Schwarz
• Das Futter für GOCCIA in Ocean und Schwarz ist Blacknavy. Bei GOCCIA in Desert ist auch das Futter in Desert. (Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Futter auf den Fotos von GOCCIA in Desert nicht die korrekte Farbe zeigt.)
• Passform: GOCCIA ist weit geschnitten und soll locker fallen. Wenn die Schulternaht am richtigen Platz sitzt und der Stoff weit fällt, ist die Größe perfekt!
• Größen entsprechen in etwa den folgenden Konfektionsgrößen: S = 36/38, M = 40, L = 42/44, XL = 46/48
• Eine Größentabelle mit Maßangaben für jede Größe finden Sie bei den Modellfotos. Die Ärmellänge ist jeweils zzgl. des ca. 6 cm breiten Strickbündchens angegeben.

Material

• Our garments made from recycled PET bottles travel an average of just 1,300 km before they arrive at our Berlin studio. In Northern Italy, the bottles are collected, cleaned, crushed, and melted. They are then turned into wafer-thin polyester fibres, which are spun into threads, dyed without heavy metals and woven into a new and entirely recycled fabric. The fabric continues its journey to our production facility in Szczecin, Poland, where our jackets and coats are sewn. From there, it is only a stone's throw to our Berlin studio.
• The recycled wool blend lining is made from pre-loved garments in Italy: Large quantities of old wool clothing are collected and sorted by colour. They are washed and ground into tiny fibres from which a completely new fabric is woven. Dying is not required in this process: The original material determines the colour of the resulting fabric. One of the challenges in production is the low availability of pure wool garments: A minimum of 2,000 kilogrammes of waste material is needed per colour to make recycled wool. Since wool is often mixed with synthetic fibres, those are also found in used garments. In the recycling process, however, wool and synthetic fibres cannot be separated. Instead, the existing mix of materials is processed as a whole. The result is a recycled fibre in which wool meets a variable proportion of different synthetic fibres.
Colour, Size & Fit
• Colours: Desert (slightly darker than in the photo, please refer to the colour card), Ocean, Black
• The wool lining is in Blacknavy for GOCCIA in Ocean and Black, and in Desert for GOCCIA in Desert. Please note that the photos of GOCCIA do not show the correct colour and material of the lining.
• Fit: GOCCIA has a wide and loose A-line cut. The size is perfect if the shoulder seam is in the right place and the fabric falls loosely.
