• The two patch pockets accentuate the design and offer ample space, while the inside pocket remains invisible.
• Unlined design: For added comfort and high-quality craftsmanship, the inside seams are finished with recycled tape.
• The shawl collar design merges fashion with functionality: The combination of shawl collar and hood in one exudes elegance whilst offering additional protection against the elements.

• The GRS-certified fabric is crafted entirely from recycled PET bottles.

• The feather-light fabric is translucent - the subtle transparency becomes visible in the light.

• The light crease effect makes the material non-iron and the garment can be rolled up small and taken anywhere.

• The material is wind- and water-resistant as well as vegan, eco-friendly, and ethically produced.

• How do bottles become garments? The journey begins with the collection of PET bottles in
Northern Italy. The bottles are cleaned, crushed, and melted to become wafer-thin polyester fibers which are then spun into threads, dyed without
heavy metals, and woven into a new, entirely recycled fabric. From this, we create our sustainable designer fashion garments.

• A truly sustainable journey: Our garments made from recycled PET bottles travel an average of just 1,300 km before they arrive at our Berlin studio. From the collection of bottles in Northern Italy to the final production in Poland or Romania we ensure an eco-conscious process every step of the way.

• Fit: VELA is intentionally oversized and is designed to fall loosely. The size is perfect if the shoulder seam is deep-seated and the fabric drapes loosely.
• Sizes available from S to L (S = 36/38, M = 40/42, L = 44/46 and larger).
• Due to the wide cut with deep-seated shoulders, the shoulder width is indicated as particularly large in the size chart.
